While she takes care of her sick patient, Khosi and Prince Melisizwe get closer. Melisizwe and his brother Longamo have to kill the feared Mamlambo to show who should be king after King Jonginamba.

After helping Melisizwe get better, Khosi is told she is no longer helpful to the Royal homestead. MamThembu has her thrown into the pit because she made too many enemies with her Western medicine.

Melisizwe asks Kumkani Jonginamba to free Khosi from the pit. Khosi tells Melisizwe that she has his lost magical amulet.

MamCwerha goes to see a witchdoctor to put a spell on Melisizwe’s stick. When the news of his death gets to the kingdom, Khosi thinks she has lost her only chance of getting back home.
